Rowan Wine Discovery Evening: the program
Guided Tour in Rowan Orchard
You’ll be able to stroll through a large orchard of rowan, viburnum, and elder bushes - home to about 1,500 rowan trees of fifteen different varieties, nearly 1,000 viburnum bushes, and 800 elder bushes. In August and September tasting of the berries used to make GERI METAI wine is possible.

Discover the Winemaking
Visit the GERI METAI winery to hear from our winemakers about the process, technologies, and finer points of winemaking.

Wines and Tasting
Your tasting features six distinctive wines - different in color, aroma, and flavor - paired with curated bites.
Alongside GERI MEAI wines, enjoy artisan Lithuanian cheeses and handmade lamb and chicken pâtés.

Dinner and Desert
To close the evening, your hosts serve lamb pilaf cooked outdoors in a traditional cauldron, followed by a handmade dessert with coffee and tea.
Over dinner, enjoy a glass of rowan wine.
Our tasting is hosted in a glass-walled garden pavilion - please dress for the weather and wear comfortable footwear for an orchard walk.
Places are limited; advance tickets are required via the GERI METAI online shop.
Location: Kun. A. Dzekano g. 1A, Ponasai, Vilnius district. In Google Maps or Waze, just search “Geri metai.”
